That has nothing to do with your thesis statement of too much racism or whatever. You begin arguing about one thing, and then you just throw in a ton of other things. Her husband ain’t able to be a rapist because too much racism? That last paragraph actually appears to undermine your premise because that is a slew of things that has nothing to do with what you are saying.

I agree that the themes that revolved around racism are very repetitive.

Forgiveness, thriving against adversity, teaching the opposition a lesson, when they low we rise high...

You'll rarely see narratives roughest around the edges.
