It's always funny because usually the people who say shyt about "I don't wanna hear [Insert Name Here] talk about Black empowerment because they used to talk about [Insert Negativity Here]" are the same ones who talk about how great and highly they think of Malcolm X.
Good point. But part of the human mind is visual correspondence. Detroit Red did his growing up/treacherous shyt in a remote setting (away from the masses) if anything it gives credence to his awakening.

If Malcolm X had've been prominently featured in a Music Video which slides a credit card through a woman's ass crack, then flop, become irrelevent, then re-arise on the conscious/preachy tip, certainly some of the masses would hit him with the :usure: when he started talking

Dudes on here putting rappers in the same group as porn stars when it comes to trying to change their ways :beli:

I respect his effort. It's not like he's flip flopping like Master P .

so with your logic Malcolm X should've never been the leader he was and countless other black men.

He's just doing what's popular now
He has no new insight, and he can't even articulate some "dead horse" points.
Basically he goes around quoting "woke"
Twitter posts and trying to push himself as intellectual.
His music was never good, and it's only gotten worse.

Malcolm X revolutionised urban Black protest, began uniting Muslims, and brought an entirely new perspective to the mainstream.
He didn't do it for popularity.

I think the difference is Malcolm X was dong work with the NoI. Not just talking and posting videos but working that people saw and verified.
What is Banner doing actually, other than the videos.

That would be the only difference, that said its possible banner is doing things, I don't know.

Honestly have no idea tbh because I don't keep up w/ him ....him changing as a man shouldn't be vilified tho. Rather him speak positivity than be a c00n on tv like Ray Lewis.

OP either a cac or a nikka w/ misguided energy. I won't call you a c00n because I don't know if this is norm for you

David Banner is a good dude...He's been conscious long before it sorta became a thing again. I think he's genuine

I'm not gonna say he's our leader or is the new MLK, Malcom and Marcus Garvey tho :whoa:

Yeah, he's been on that route since like 2011. Just heavy emphasis on the Pro-Black steeze since 2014.

Still don't fukk with him tho, but whatevs
