Stopped taking him serious when he died he beard gray to seem more knowledgeable. He seems a bit pretentious.

Wait so he dyed it?

I was watching this video of him and I was just confused like :dwillhuh: "when did he turn so gray"

And he was talking to some kids about some shyt but it was kinda "smart dumb nikka-like" he was going from point to point and I just didn't get where he was going.

Honestly I am assuming, but the usually when you go gray all of your hair goes gray. Somehow only his beard is affected. But who knows some cats beard do gray only, but not full fledged like that nikka.

He can be annoying at times. But phony is a lil harsh. I think he has just evolved from seeing the rap/music industry from the inside.

I rather see him "trying" to make some changes in the black community rather than being older still rapping about guns, gangs, and drugs and completely ignoring the black community issues....

Give me a "phoney " trying to help his people than a real ni66a not doing shyt and promoting negativity all day

I don't get how people say he switched up. David Banner was always like this. He even said on his album Mississippi:

Mayne, I made some bullshyt, but it's good--- David Banner, "So Trill"

That's the same album with "Like A Pimp". In the same song he addresses homosexuals, 9/11, Bush's presidency, and more.

He's coming off as forced and that pro black wave is heavy on IG. It really just seems as if he's riding a new wave. He didn't just become conscious. I remember that Cadillacs o. 22s song. He wanted to be the next big thing when the dirty south movement started to pop off in the early 2000s but it didn't happen for him. Now he's on some super contrived pro black pan African tip that's so see through.

its the classic fall off hustle.

When youre original career doesnt pan out...turn into a "black intellectual".
It used to be turn into a Pastor...but with youtube, people dont need a congregation anymore.
You can just talk on a camera and claim to be intelligent.
