That is NEVER a requirement for a fight to be made bc the fighters are paid AFTER the fight. So that's bullshyt ducking tactics.

Not to mention, Manny has been involved in mega fights for countless years, you think his team don't know business? So BoMac is the business wiz but Manny team don't know how to secure a big fight? What big fight has CBD been involved in? Aight bet...

“No, he’s not my mandatory. Shawn Porter is my mandatory.

The committee never called for a purse bid and the WBO put Vergil in the number 1 place right after which then made the fight optional. Allowing CBD to duck that situation, bc the WhateverBobOrders made it convenient for him to do so.

So does CBD really want the smoke? No. If he really serious, he can fight Vergil or Boots next. What is he waiting for? Why marinate those fights when both fighters are hot right now? Just beat the young killers and you'll get credit.

Or EVEN BETTER, he can position himself to be A-side and get the last laugh RIGHT NOW. He can move up to 154 and become the mandatory for Brian Castano immediately after the fight in October. Fight Castano for the 154 WBO belt, then immediately go for Undisputed against Jermell. Beat Jermell and wait for EJ to come up for the big fight. CBD would then be the A side, undisputed 154 champ, and EJ would probably do 50/50 at that point. But that won't likely happen. CBD will continue to maneuver around fighting anyone worth a damn.
