lovie's defensive scheme is predicated on creating multiple turnovers and scoring on defense. If that doesn't happen, they start to look pretty ordinary. plus that philosphy is an unrealistic thing to expect week in and week out.

That's the thing...his offensive side is limited, so if he doesn't turn defensive possesions into scores he's lost. Especially if the offense isn't controlling the game. Three and outs will tire the defense, and coming from behind isn't his strong point. Every time we got a score needed late, it was because of Cutler and hurry ups. Philly won't be automatically better with him, it'll take time. Philly isn't a "give him time" fan base.

i think Lovie is the best coach out there with his resume, but i dont think hes the best fit for the eagles HC right now unless they make him DC
