Never buy a used compact car for that price. Only used cars you pay 9k for are SUVs, Vans and trucks. You can get a brand new Toyota Corolla for 17k with zero maintenance needed for the next 4 years. And if you wanna resell it in 4 years with let's say 70k miles on it you can easily get 9k back on it.

NavyFed is pretty dope. They have a car buying program that guarantees discounts on cars. I found one for this Rio that originally costs $9,900, but the program gives a MINIMUM discount of $1,000 on it
The car has a 40,000 miles on it and, after running the carfax, has a spotless record. I also already got an insurance quote. The monthly price can either be $141 or $167, depending on which type of coverage I choose.
Kia also has a 10-year/1000,000 mile powertrain warranty on this thang
I can also just put down like $3,300 for a $150 monthly payment.
