No offense but it sounds like your mother has the negro bed wench mentality. This sounds like where you confusion comes from. You sound like you have some sense, but I think you took the road of familiarity, and this is why you think the way you do. It will be hard to accept, but your mother has some serious issues which she passed on to you.
You also sound like you grew up in a Narcissistic household. It sounds like your sister is hurt from growing up in this environment, and wants to not deal with it which is why she doesn't come around, but both of you have kept her thinking which is dangerous for BOTH YOU because you will end up hating yourself just like your mother. If she is black how can she let a white man talk crazy about her people, yet still be intimate with her, knowing the history of this country, specifically form white men. She has A LOT OF SELF HATRED. Obviously she and her family aren't like the stereotypes so why would she let someone from another culture talk down on her group. If he grew up with them that is different, but I doubt it because if he did he would get the whole picture.
