There are dudes who were bigger and stronger and more athletic than me that would see me and my friends spar and think becuz they were bigger and stronger and watched a few boxing technique videos that it meant they could actually take us in the ring.


Then they realize just how real shyt could get when you put on the gloves and head gear.

Boxing's a different thing. I consider you an athlete. You ain't a regular dude going to the gym and playing rec bball PLUS if you a boxer you know damn well the most of the planet don't know how to throw a punch. I used to cross train with boxers when I played and that's a skill that takes dedication to be good at. Most cats learned how to punch by watching Mel in Lethal Weapon and shyt expecting dudes to fall out after one punch......but even then if it's a fight ain't no boxing rules and I'd still take a pro athlete over a regular cat.
