This is due to the fact that WWE been milking the fukk out of the OG ECW apparel despite the fact that the design is played out and only worn by the beardest of neck beards

I guess its an extension of Vince disliking tag teams. And there isn't a lot of cohesion in their booking anymore, so keeping a stable together with Vince changing everything at the last minute must be difficult.
