I take the practice test tomorrow. I heard that only 4 parts of the actual test are scored. Is this true?IT or Healthcare is cool but I can't tell you shyt about the Navy. You ain't signed anything yet anyways but keep your options open - you might hit a score that gives you a better outlook in a different branch. Job openings and bonuses are always changing. Don't set your mind to anything until you get your score. And afterwards parade your score around every recruiting station and branch and recruiter until you hear exactly what you want. Start a bidding war for yourself.
Did you take the practice ASVAB first?
The practice test is more for your immediate recruiter than you, if I'm being 100 percent honest. It lets them know roughly what kind of jobs would be in your bracket.I take the practice test tomorrow. I heard that only 4 parts of the actual test are scored. Is this true?
Thx for the advice. The practice test is more for your immediate recruiter than you, if I'm being 100 percent honest. It lets them know roughly what kind of jobs would be in your bracket.
The scoring for the tester though can be all over the place. I remember doing 'okay' on my practice test, then breezing through the actual thing. The big thing to take away from it is that you don't do poorly. If you do bad, STOP. Focus on getting yourself comfortable with the test and google whatever resources you can find to increase your score. Too often smart (and just average) guys screw themselves over by just rolling with where they stand and short changing themselves. If you do bad or simply think you can do better, then make that your goal before talking jobs and contracts with your recruiter. You lose if you do that.
Also, nothing against the other branches - but the Army's contracts will actually guarantee you the job whereas other branches give what's basically a soft commitment that you'll get the job you're wanting. Something to keep in mind.
Lmao why not? What ever y'all do don't go to the coast guard fukkem
The Automotive, Electrical, and a couple other sections aren't scored. I ain't finna lie, when I was taking an ASVAB practice test online I bombed the car parts partI didnt enlist but my Junior class in HS took the ASVAB and I scored in the 90s. I remember the Math, English, and Science being basic af and there being questions about cars and tools that I just guessed on
