Black "menists" are so weird.

That may have been a "menist" response, but I'm far from a menist. I'm not a male feminist either. I'm for whatever has to be done in a positive, efficient manner for black relationships to be successful, no matter who plays what role. Having said that...

The reality is that young black male teens and adults are about to be in a world of hurt. Black women are now teaching their daughters to be super hypergamists... and black men are behind. As I mentioned in my last post, non-black boys who come from financially secure families (most commonly white)are driving by age 16 and have decent jobs that pay more than minimum wage with benefits between the ages of 18-21, regardless if they are in college or not. Black women of all ages notice this(thanks to social media). Unless you are CLEARLY on track to become wealthy and/or successful(becoming a professional in sports or entertainment), YOU AIN'T GETTING CHOSE! Black Women aren't going to help men build anymore. Those days are over. If black women are building, they are only doing it for themselves. Black Women only want to date up now; not even "on their level" is enough.

I'm still for teaching black boys the value of hard work, but not to the point where it hampers economic and romantic viability.

I lived in a pretty wealthy part of town that was also "liberal", and he and his girl got together freshman year of H.S. and broke up a year after college, so I guess the parents thought they would eventually marry one another. Brother decided not to marry her, and married someone else and he has inherited a lot of land and a few homes because of his wife (she's White as well).

I am happy for the dude, which is why I try to tell other Black guys to not deal with low-level Whites. There are plenty of wealthy White women that you can come up on. But dudes want those trailer trash Whites with nothing to offer, and they end up living a life of brokeness and dustiness, eating mayonnaise sandwiches.

Word. I once bought my high school girlfriend a pair of expensive shoes and her dad was REAL aggy about it and made her return it. Said no boy buying no girl no expensive gifts like that unless he getting something. We were fukking so he was definitely right. If she came home with a car he would’ve definitely snapped. If it was me I could see my parents being weirded out about it + angry for not being consulted about such a large gift for their kid + angry that the cacs thought their son needed charity.
