So why don't you respect them?

You love your family members. Would you call your mom a bytch or your cousin a spic?

These terms have lots of meaning built up behind them. Frankly this "hey they use it with me, term of endearment" deal is a cop out. This was the same term used when our people got lynched and chased out of towns. This is still the same term used when our folks get harassed and chased out of stores.

If you really can't think of anything else to call someone that you claim you love, you need a dictionary or you just plain old don't respect them or their history.

And if they let you do that then they sure could use a copy of the Autobiography of Malcolm X.

the word has alot of built up behind it but i wasnt aware of this until i gained access to the internet and self educated myself and saw why there were black folk who dont want other races using the word. fortunately for me, i live in the heart of dade county where aint no black folks giving a fukk about who uses that word and only care about who's real and whos fake, and fortunately im real and have always been referred to as a "real nikka"

cats like u who want to be militant and talk all this corny shyt have never crossed my path and quite frankly, i wouldnt hesitate to rock your jaw loose for even trying me for some fukk nikka and telling me what i can and cant say.

imagine, i got dread one on corner calling me, "a spic" a real nikka, and another dread in another corner calling me " a spic" a real nikka so i call anyone who i feel is my potnah or a rider, a real nikka but im supposed to stop because someone who's probably a cornball ass fukkboy on the internet tells me i have to stop?

nah im gucci off that. u wanna stop me, then come punch me in my shyt and fukk me up then i'll think about it but until then ima keep saying nikka like i've been sayin for over 20 years. same people ive broke bread with, fukk bytches with, hit licks with, done dirt with, i'm supposed to censor myself around on some bullshyt? nah im good.

And its not all his fault. Some black people too loose with this sh!t and give these clowns passes. In 20 or so years the doo rags and hip hop clothes will be gone and hell be same ol hector from honduras or wherever hes from.

:pachaha: You are fighting a losing battle. You can get all riled up and stand by your militant beliefs if you want, but it isn't going to change sh!t. As long as many black people use the N word as an endearment, other ethnicities will never take the issues of using the N word seriously.

Yeah, it's a waste of energy getting worked up over it and I've become mostly desensitized to the word now.

Not surprised you took it there. Course you used the word gucci for something so maybe I shouldn't. My ignorance is as important as your knowledge right?

Unfortunate that you had to educate yourself about the word in the first place. Unfortunate further that your lack of respect for African people allows you to keep using it. I'd recommend withoutsanctuary.org for exactly where the word comes from and what it really means. That's some "real" stuff that happened and continues to.

I know it's asking too much to look at this beyond what you can or cannot say. You're right, no one can make you do anything one way or the other. You say no one can stop you from saying it but then put it on others for a reason that you can. It is a matter of respect. What you should or shouldn't be saying.

Same thing: is a misspelling of ****** the best thing you can come up with to call people you love?

I recommend you guys read some books. Black people are the mothers and fathers of everyone else and so is not limited to certain physical features. There are black people with natural blonde hair, some with straight hair, some are not hairy, some are hairy.

Who and What is Black? - YouTube

Nah fvck those youtube videos.
They don't identify as black and they cling to "their" culture.

So I'm not about let some mexican call me his N*****.

With that said I tend not to use the word myself unlike the so called
"Pro black" posters on this website who throw around catch phrases
like "C***","Uncle Tom" and "N****" haphazardly.

Not at all. U call it a misspelling of a word but I've been taught (by black people) that there is a difference between nikka and ******. I was raised in a hood where tupac was gospel and black folk went by his ideology that there's a difference between both spellings. U don't agree with that but this is what I was taught at 6 years old! I know the difference now as an adult but I'm at a point where telling me to stop saying nikka is like telling 50 cent to stop saying actual and aggressive

Seriously, ghetto mentality is the problem. And you just described yourself as being connected to the main problem.

Those same blacks calling you a real nikkas would call a white boy in your same position a "real nikka" also. Till that white privledge kicks in. Then they on some" I thought he was a real nikka, look at him taking advantage of not really being a a nikka".

You sound like, just a nikka. Happy to be a real nikka as if that means anything. You actually feel good that confused people of a differnt race think of you as a real nikka.

Quick question. What is a real nikka. Why do they call you a real nikka exactly?
