If you really can't think of anything else to call someone that you claim you love, you need a dictionary or you just plain old don't respect them or their history.

Unfortunate that you had to educate yourself about the word in the first place. Unfortunate further that your lack of respect for African people allows you to keep using it. I'd recommend withoutsanctuary.org for exactly where the word comes from and what it really means. That's some "real" stuff that happened and continues to.

I know it's asking too much to look at this beyond what you can or cannot say. You're right, no one can make you do anything one way or the other.
