Im still uncomfortable with Latino n!ggas using the N word

I'm Indian and I've been called ****** as an insult by white kids when I was about 12, 13. In Australia too. There aren't many black people here, so I guess they use it anybody who's darker than white.
I don't know what to make of it. I mean it's just a word to me, and I'm not black so I don't get why it's used against me. What's more important than the meaning and whether or not it's relevant to me, is how it's said you know? The way those kids called me that, it was the tone that got me more than the word. They said it with this disgust in their voice, like I was less than human or something.

I have been called by slurs before a lot of times about Indian people; like currymuncher, your skin is the same colour as shyt, etc.
And that never shocked me because I came to expect it, also because slurs against Indian people don't have the same impact. People who used those words just can't say them with the same venom that they put into the n word. It comes across more as a bad joke than something that shows the person calling you it thinks you're subhuman, because the slurs used don't have the history. Obviously I feel bad when I hear that shyt but it doesn't make me go

I was working the front door with this other bouncer who might be dominican/rican/latino/some shyt ... the line was long but dude was yelling at some dude he must of had beef with and dropping the n-word like crazy and talking that talk like he about to fukk dude up. White folks in the line was looking at me like
"its ok for him to say nikka" . Its the thing to say by these latinos on the east coast. Im kinda sick talking bout it but I think these latino chics use it more than the dudes also.

I see you digging thru the threads and found one of many threads I made about Latinos. I remember you now, you was a solid poster too, I remember that epic Kufi thread, right now we just got a difference of opinions ... Yea, I was smh the whole time and cringed every time he said the N word and in typical NYC nikka fashion don't see fit to check dude and so conditioned to give that pass to others using the word . I don't know much about dude except he rep Mexico and said his father Puerto Rican. Dude clearly a product of his environment and social media. My opinion is basically is he was been empowered and spolied by c00ns he run with or associate with and ain't never been checked. His day coming, dude's days are numbered and it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. He reminds me of this bunky in ECDOC who came in hard as fukk, straight up Latino thug nikka from Newark. I thought I seen dude in the bullpen earlier and figured he was gonna be a problem because he was blood and talking that nikka this nikka that talk to some cats he knew but after quarantine he was crying like a bytch when he got put in my cell with 23/hr lock down in effect and them lights got cut off. I put him on the top bunk when he came in and later gave him back his blanket and pillow to stop his sobbing and after talking to him he turned out to be a scared lil kid. I put him onto my bail bondsman, and lawyer, he gave me a number to call his mom after I got out to relay some information to her about her son. Dude followed me around like a puppy during that hour free time. I'm OG and only Brick I represent is brick city (from other comment you posted) and dude never used the N word around me. When I got ready to leave and be sent home I could see that nikka soul leave his body because he knew he was food. I say all this to say this dude 6-9 food and don't even know it.
These same Dominicans when filling out job applications or census reports saying they no African American or black but stating they Latino (non black) or they white.

"AA or Black (not of Hispanic origin)"
There's threads on here about blacks being more than 12% of the country... That's one of the ways they keep the numbers down

After all these years im still bothered by this. I grew up with these motherfukkers and lived in predominately latino neighborhoods and although I got along with em I was never comfortable with these spics using the N word with wreckless abandonment. I still dont know where and when these nikkas got the pass to use the N word. They say it with more ferocity than them characters in Django. The barbershop I sometimes go to its latino but they cut nikka hair and the conversations are filled with every 3rd word being "nikka". Chime in on this coli latinos
