Im still uncomfortable with Latino n!ggas using the N word

I dont hang out with latinos that say the word, but just about every black person I know except a handful of old heads do. I guarantee you that if rappers stopped, and its culture stopped..others would follow suit instantly. you're chopping at leaves, Im talking about the root.....

But what's your point. There are a few people on here who made it known (myself included ) they don't like it from blacks or non blacks alike. The premise of the thread is Latinos using the word, not blacks. You're one of those black on black crime negros aren't you

My nikka, I feel like you don't know what you're talking about, tbh. You are assuming that latinos say "nikka" so they can be down with "nikkas". You are assuming latinos will sell you out just cause you're black. You are assuming that immigrants know it's "wrong" to say nikka. You're judging them for coming from countries that be on that "no nikkas " as if we don't live in a "no nikkas" country.

You just looking for something to be mad about it seems.

I mean look, I used to say it all the time.
Why? It was just the area and culture I grew up in. And it became habitual.

It's not an excuse. But that's how it came about. There wasn't like...a malicious intent behind saying "my n****" or whatever.

But the reality is that a lot of people find it offensive. And frankly to me, it sounds coarse and ugly and ignorant to say it now. So I try not to say it anymore.

Like, you can substitute "dude" or "my G" or "bro" or "my man" or countless other words for the N-word and the sentiment of your statement remains the same, but without the offending gravity behind the N-word.

It's a delicate situation and I think it's best to avoid it.

I had a white friend who said it after every three words and it use to make me cringe and he said it so comfortably around black people I always waited for someone to call him out for it but it never happen. At least not when I was around Im pretty sure someone has tho.

Never had to say to fit in or be cool. I've checked my nephews and nieces for trying to say it too. I've never heard them say it, but I keep tabs on their igs and twitters. I explain to them the history of the word, and that just because you hear it in a song, it doesn't mean its acceptable for you to say it. I also can't ride with the excuse that some try to use by saying they say because of their "enviornment". At the end of the day, you still go home to a Brown house where nobody says it.
