Bond's gun spoke once....
My first blu ray purchase was season 1...loved it at first but after season three it was awful, never finished season 4 on
Just finsihed season 3 should i continue?
NoIs she still fighting off the guy she married ex-wife?
Watch to season 3 and then pretend the other seasons don't exist. This is a show I've always considered getting into. I watched the first episode of the series years ago.

Naw, cause the show just becomes an unbelievable alternate world
First 3 seasons were dope.
Watch to season 3 and then pretend the other seasons don't exist.
Honestly season 3 finale works as series finale.
YUP!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the show should have ended at the end of season three :
Nancy burned her house down and rose off into the sunset. Perfect.
Of course, hindsight is 20/20. Realistically, they would NEVER have ended the show here. A popular American cable comedy ending after 3 seasons? With a feminist angle to it? Don't hold your breathe. Hell, everyone was hyped to find out what happened next (me included). So it's an unfair criticism, but still valid in that the show never reached these heights again. While Nancy and the rest of the cast grew and changed throughout the remaining...what was it, 4 more seasons? 5? This really was the peak of Nancy's arc and said everything that needed to be said about her. She's a hustler. She's a survivor. She'll keep fighting the tide and eventually find dry land.
What were they thinking with some of those arcs? Silas wasn't really Judah's son? Shane becoming the sociopath, and then becoming a cop (I *get it*, but it played like it came from another TV show). Doug becomes a full-blown caricature eventually, and worst of all, him even being on the show becomes questionable (Honestly, why was he fukking following their family around?). They couldn't get the Celia actress back at one point so she just became a dropped character. I think that Andy was the only one who I kind of continued to like into the later seasons.
Actually, getting rid of Conrad and Heylia kind of low-key saved them. They weren't around to be ruined....
Don't get me started on Esteban and that ridiculous Mexican storyline. And how about that ending? Doug becomes some sort of cult leader? Conrad/Nancy/Silas run some giant weed business yet Shane just remains a blue-collar police officer? Once again, I think that Andy had the only truly satisfying ending.
The truth is that Californication ended up being the superior show. I make that comparison because it was the other big Showtime comedy at the time. It also had it's faults towards the end, but at least it always remained engaging. Weeds just became a drag.
