As I said in the other thread about this, at some point we need to point fingers at Lynch for going along with it and agreeing to the finish. She's someone with rank who could have worked with the producer of the match to come up with something that doesn't make Belair look bad. We've seen it all the time where wrestlers don't want to job or they'll script their matches. She went from getting her shine stolen by Charlotte to becoming Charlotte.
This. I said in the other thread that she's just another version of Charlotte with an annoying Irish accent (paraphrasing The Miz when he shytted on AJ Styles).
There was a small part of me that thought that maybe I could start watching again. Not like I used to, but I could start keeping up more at a gradual pace. Maybe catch a RAW or SmackDown live, which I honestly haven't done in two years. After last night? No. This is some of that classic "fukk you" booking that WWE loves doing to make you mad. And it's always done when they know they have a million better options.
We didn’t even need to see Becky compete last night, much less win the way she did. The last time WWE did something this viscerally disgusting was when they had Asuka drop the SD women's belt to Charlotte, just so they could justify having Charlotte in the main event at WrestleMania. I saw through it then and I see through this.
You know what I'm afraid of? What this does to Bianca. When Kofi lost to Brock, he never even got a rematch. It's like his title reign never happened. WWE could easily have Bianca feud with Becky and come out looking even worse than before, which will damage her career and leave her with not nearly as much buzz as she had before.
I just.......I can't even comprehend why they would do this. Why try to sabotage a rising star with her whole career ahead of her? Why go back to making Becky a parody of herself, only with this shyt, she's a parody of a parody? Why have her do something that not even Charlotte did? What do the people involved gain from this? And what happens to Sasha when she comes back? I highly doubt anyone's beating Becky for months, which means the rematch WWE continued advertising under false pretenses now has a miniscule chance of happening.
It's times like this where I want to grab Vince and say something Tony Soprano would say. Like when A.J. vandalized the swimming pool.
"Just when everything was going good, huh? We're not gonna get the big rematch. You're screwing everything up. Bianca's main event push, down the drain!
