My bad, I was actually referring to hellblade 2. The point I was making was hellblade 1 was disappointing and so will hellblade 2 if it wasn’t exclusive. Ie it wouldn’t receive half the attention it’s currently enjoying

But HB1 has tons of positive reviews even years later with the switch port. While it was exclusive to PS4, it won and was listed as one of the best games of the year and the generation.

The attention has literally always been there. It didn't suddenly get tons of hype because it's an Xbox exclusive.

It got tons of hype, praise and awards as a PS4/PC exclusive, when it hit Xbox later and continued when it hit the switch like 3/4 years later.

It's almost like it's just a well received title in all ways. This bullshyt console warrior shyt has people ignoring facts just to spew bullshyt.

the game has literally always been highly critical received regardless of platform or years after the original PS4 version so idk why people are acting like it's a conspiracy on why the sequel is being hyped

"A critically loved game has a sequel being hyped - it's just xbots" is a stupid thing to say at this point regarding this game/series

It’s not like your typical game but I like how they played around with sound design. It’s not something you would see happening a lot when it came out. I’m not a big horror game fan but my first thought after playing the game was it would be cool if an Alan Wake or Silent Hill game would randomly play whispers in the surround speakers or headphones while you’re playing to always make you paranoid. You never know what’s really a monster or just sound so you’re always on edge.

I like seeing developers try something different. It may not speak to the masses but it can spark an idea from someone else to make another game even more immersive. It was a small thing but I liked how GTA5 used the PS4 controller speaker and light during police chases. Anything to bring different experiences I’m game for.
