I think this summer has been pretty fukking great...

Every major release, other than Trans4mers and ASM2, has met or exceeded my expectations.

Jump Street, Dawn, Godzilla, Dragon, Cap 2, Edge of Tomorrow, X-Men.....I'm a big fan of all of them.

nah you're missing the point cuz... it aint about the quality of movies.. it's about something big should drop EVERY WEEKEND

Ive only seen 3 movies the last 6 months, Cap 2, dawn of the planet of the apes, and 22 jump street

I can only speak for myself and the movies I've seen this summer but here's my rundown.

Cap 2 - loved loved loved it. had a great time and it had me rooting tor Cap.

1 for 1

Spidey 2 - really fukkin enjoyed it. expectations were pretty low but it exceeded them in a big way. had a lot of fun during this.

2 for 2

Godzilla - fukkin hated it it. boring as shyt and not nearly enough Godzilla. awful.

2 for 3

X Men - wasn't a big fan. really thought it was cheap and boring. could never get fully engrossed in the story.

2 for 4

Apes - fukkin amazing. loved it. lived up to the original

3 for 5


So for me it hasn't been too bad. Still lookin forward to Turtles and maybe GOTG but no guarantees yet. I may base whether I see that or not on the early reviews.

ASM 2, X-Men, Apes, Godzilla, Edge of Tomorrow are the only movies I've went and seen over the past 3/4 months or so. Edge of Tomorrow and Godzilla were meh, but I didn't hate any of them. Dawn of the POTA is easily the best movie I've seen in a minute though. Still gotta catch 22 Jump street and Cap 2, but I don't think its been a bad summer necessarily.

Rock bout to come through and crush the buildings with Hercules this weekend too

IMO there are only 3 movies I've seen that I would actually recommend paying for 3D, and this year's Godzilla was one of them.

Agree with all of this minus X men. I've enjoyed the summer for the most part. I'm looking forward to Turtles more and more as each day goes by. And Lord help me I'm probably going to see Hercules this weekend

Not to speak for someone else, but imo the only 3D movies that were absolutely worth seeing in 3D were Avatar, Life Of Pi and Gravity.
