i expect a big movie to drop almost every weekend in the summer... how you not gonna drop a single big movie over the 4th of July weekend and have nothing to follow up a couple of weekends later.

The only movies that met my expectations were Cap 2, X-Men and those damn dirty Apes. A lot of movies I didn't bother to go see. I have high hopes for Lucy and of course Guardians of the Galaxy will come through and crush the buildings. Spider Man and Godzilla were aight. Nothing special.

Only movies I've seen are Godzilla, X Men, Captain America and 22 Jump St. Personally I liked all of them, though admittedly I am huge Godzilla stan from way back (used to stay renting the old movies as a youngin).

Studios are scared to take risks. They going with brand names. I mean there is no reason to make a ninja turtles movie. no reason whatsoever. it's all about sequels and reboots.

I think this summer has been pretty fukking great...

Every major release, other than Trans4mers and ASM2, has met or exceeded my expectations.

Jump Street, Dawn, Godzilla, Dragon, Cap 2, Edge of Tomorrow, X-Men.....I'm a big fan of all of them.
