Bronny is a freshman. A bit early.
Someone remind them what MJ was doing his freshman year in high school. Or Paul Pierce. Or a dozen other greats.

Lamelo was way way way better at age 14 at chino hills
"way way way" better? Really? Can you actually name the thing that Lamelo did better at that age and then show me tape to prove it?

Bronny has a better shot form and makes a higher % of his shots than Lamelo did even by his third year. And Bronny has more athleticism and plays MUCH better defense than Lamelo did. They both see the court and pass the ball well, Lamelo got a lot more opportunities because of the nature of the Chino Hills offense and how the Ball brothers were allowed to hog the spotlight. But what's the actual skill that Lamelo was "way way way better" at from the same age?

Y'all must have been constantly watching highlight videos where he made 5 threes and not seen the box score where that was 5-18. :mjlol:

That's when you know someone been exposed when there literally nothing they can say.

Y'all mythologize the fukk out of these BBB kids. Breh, Lamelo's freshman year was just 4 years ago. We were all around then. It's not tough to remember. He was a short little active point guard who spent most of his time finding his brothers for open threes and cherry-picked layins. I loved how he saw the court and said so at the time, but other than that what is that fool trying to big-up him about?

Can you actually add to a bball discussion on this forum for once? Add anything? Boring when 90% of the time you have stronger opinions on me than you have on the actual gameplay.

Dude is 15 on a star studded team. Zaire on the other hand :francis:

Bronny also supposed to be a Sophomore as well tho. Or at least he would be one in NC. I don't think Bronny should play with stars studded players. I think that hinders your potential. But what do I know.
I agree:manny:

It'd be one thing if he was already this ultra aggressive player and then joined a stacked to learn how to play a "team game"

Not sure what Bron was thinking with that one. Let him get use to being the guy. That school is going to keep bringing in star recruits as well.

I think it's a double edged sword. On one hand you work with better trainers, practice against the best players every single day and develop work ethic becoming of a player that will make it to the next level. On the other hand you tend to look average and defer more when playing with a stacked team and it deters players from being aggressive and imposing their will on other teams.

Depending on how you look at it either can be good. I think in Bronny's case he's never been a player who has had to carry most of the load on a team but he also wasn't a surefire prospect either so I think this experience will help him, but I think if he goes to college (he may not have to because I think the one and done will be over when he graduates) then he may want to go to either a smaller school or a school where he's going to be the man so he can learn how to break out of the mold of being a role player.

Zaire's NBA hopes were actually dwindling before he went to sierra canyon so this may help him if he can ball out, so I understand the logic. He was only being recruited by one school and a 2 star prospect this time last year so it might be a good decision. :yeshrug:
