Probably not much different than the Cali Cartel members' portrayals in Narcos
Funny enough, never saw Narcos. How is it?

The way i always saw it was, either you serve God or the devil. You can't serve bothHere's the irony of Tony Montana's life...up until the end, despite all the wrong he did he managed to survive. For example, his first drug deal in the States was morally and legally wrong, right? But quick thinking to stall (hoping Manny would swoop in and save him) and luck kept him alive.
Going after his boss' wife was wrong, killing his boss after his boss put that detective on him as well as an attempted hit. Before killing him, he even had chichi place that phony phone call to Frank to make sure it was Frank who set up the hit.
All the horribly wrong things he did, did not get him killed. It was the one morally correct choice that he made which got him killed. When he refused to blow up the car with the children is when he signed his own death warrant - and for those religious folks - lost his life but saved his soul.

Because he was coked out of his mind by that pointWhy didn't Tony flee Miami and went into hiding after the call with Sosa? He definitely knew what was up after not following orders and (rightfully) disrespecting Sosa through the phone. I know machismo is a thing but Sosa is a major cartel boss who will and has hunted down his enemies to the last second. Tony didn't stand a chance whatsoever.
It's good. Worth to watch it. Not in the GOAT tier like The Wire, but really if you've watched movies like Sicario, Traffic, etc. You should enjoy it. Matter of fact this is something like a mix of Sicario + Carlito's Way/Scarface,Funny enough, never saw Narcos. How is it?
