malta made a good point. it's better to focus on trying to do something with yourself rather than looking for someone, especially if you feel the need to settle down. it'll end up happening naturally if you work on other ways of improving yourself. you'll end up getting around different people with different mind sets and personal goals for themselves, you'll find a common interest and move from that point...

Some women are a lot like men nowadays in the sense that they don't expect anything off top and play things by ear. Most dudes don't know they want a relationship until kickin it for a while unlike women who know off top they want something and put all their expectation on the next dude they date lol.
