I'm Playing PS1 FF7. Why Did I Try to Play This shyt at 7?

I played Mario and Sonic, got this shyt at 7 and didn't understand a god damn thing

I was used to easy ass platformers.

Great game now that I can understand it.

I remember getting Shining Force for Sega when I was youngin, EVERYBODY would be like “WTF are you playing” when the would see me playing it. Older people who played games would be like “naw I don’t know what’s going on” and always though “fukk is wrong wit them” and keep playing Thinking back I don’t know how I learned how to play that shyt.

it's actually pretty easy and a great starter rpg in general if you're a kid

I was like 10 when I played it and got to the end. I didn't realize til years later that I actually had no idea how the materia system worked. I just used fire, ice, thunder, cure and summons

It’s kinda crazy how much i used to run from fights in rpg games growing up. Probably why i eventually got packed up when i eventually got to a boss fight
