My physical ps5 came up to 540 after tax, add on a dual sense and its about 615 with tax, so you’re paying about 100 bucks over.

Just paid the same on GameStop for the Disc version, 2 games, two controllers, and $40 GameStop credit. Just delivered too...

PS5 disc + an extra controller is like $570 without shipping...so you paying $150 above retail...there’s been cats on here who admittedly paid $750-800 for the console alone off stockx/ebay or thru meet-ups... +$150 isn’t too bad imo

At this point you aren't really missing much. I'd just wait and see if I could get one through normal means before 2022. Unless there's some game you absolutely have to play now this isn't really worth it.

Even if the system is difficult to get over a long timetable you'll likely land one. If I didn't buy and sell 2 other PS5s at launch to mostly pay for my own I wouldn't have one right now.

There could come an issue if you buy from a scalper unless they give you proof of original purchase Sony can decline you warranty coverage in the event something goes wrong.
