A good parent ain't cutting off they kid financially at 18, especially if they trying to do the college thing. They gonna need help til at least 20Just Financially....The kid still gonna have a daddy in his life man...

Thank you all. I truly appreciate the reps from the bottom of my heart.
This whole 18 years I only had my license suspended once cause I had to move from the state where that beast lived.
But I got caught up and didn't miss a payment not once for 17 years straight.
When the clerk said, "No money owed, and quite an impressive record of voluntary payments...The order is CLOSED"....I swear a tear ran down my face.

Parents are not obligated to help you out any more after 18, get a job muthafukka...
But I'm sure the OP will help out his kid from time to time with a few dollars if he ask...

Yes, the worthless momma only.
She has routinely denied my child the money I send each month...going on trips to south florida, all over louisiana, all kinda stuff. Meanwhile my child calling me saying she needs glasses and money for books and all kinds of stuff. At one point she didn't have a bed!!
So I sent her the money to get a bed for my kid and I call my kid a week later only to find out she's still sleeping on the floor.
You don't know the anger I felt...
And the courts would do NOTHING to help.
I couldn't do anything, my hands were tied. I just started sending her stuff that couldn't be sold or taken back to the store for money when returned.
It's been a fight....lord it's been a long fight.
But the kid is off to college and out of her worthless shytbag mother's house.

Folks who care and support theirs don't just throw nikkas out on they own. Just like how when your parents get old and sick, you aren't obliged to take care of them. But if you love them, many feel the urge to want to help them anyway.
