Not to mention the fact that different people and cultures eat oxtail all around the world. This is not some food that no one learned about until white American slave owners threw some tails at slaves and said "eat that, negro." They ate oxtail in ancient Rome and ancient Egypt. It's still a famous dish in Italy, eastern Europe, Asia, etc.
