I've said this before but the biggest compliment to Bryan's WWE career is that 6-8 weeks Wyatt feud. Even though Bray has been protected and booked very strong by WWE heels standards, he has never looked more relevant and better in the ring that against D-Bry. His matches against Cena and Jericho were a proof that he wasn't as good as Bryan made him look.
DB has also gave guys like Miz, Ryback and Reigns their best singles matches in WWE. I guess not being able to give Kane anything more than "decent" is his biggest flaw but that's more of a testament of how no one can have a legit very good match against current Kane
I REALLY want to see Rusev vs Bryan. That shyt would be fukking FIRE

DB is a very good wrestler.... but I think he kinda really only shines SOOOOOOOOO BRIGHT is because his peers are SOOOOOO shytTY.
I think yall are going a little overboard when saying dudes WWE work has and is good at Kurt's, HBK's, Brets, Eddies, Chris B's, and many others.
People tend to forget that those eras when say Kurt would put on a great match against say Y2J, then the match before him was a great match with Benoit and say a Shelton, and then later an Eddie and another great wrestler and so on and so on and everyone really giving their all and putting on a great show. And I'm not even bringing up Austin, Rock, HHH, and Taker in there primes putting up solid matches on some of the same shows. (hell diva's too, got Lita putting on great matches with say Jackie or some shyt)
While in this current era, DB will put on a decent match with say one of the Bray Wyatts brothers (and everyone will go crazy like OMG this is the best match ever), but around that show we have Fandango vs a Bunny, Rusev vs Zack Ryder, RTruth vs Miz, Cena in some silly gimmicked angle match, diva's doing some bullshyt, Reigns vs Big Show, Kane vs Ambrose and other 1 star match shyt and everyone else just dialing it in. From that perspective.... of course DB looks head over heels above everyone else. But in actually, alot of his shyt has been mediocre and below the level that he can really kick it up too.
He has very little to no one he can actually have a great match with that could rival some of the great matches in history yet alone his on personal catalog pre WWE

Low Key.... all them matches in NXT with Neville, Sami, KO, and a few others been way better than alot of the shyt DB been doing in the last few years in the E... and I like DB more than them
He's been one of the all time greats since 2005

Bryan's place as an all time worker heavily depends on how you view his indy work. His time in WWE is not enough to put him in any "GOAT" list. But if you rate his earlier work highly - as I and many other do - then he has a case for a top 20 spot imo.

Him and AJ had a good series of Matches.
It was almost a running joke in TNA to have Angle do some wild moonsault for no reason.
But even in TNA he carried Mr. Anderson to some good matches which was impressive.
Bryan already solidified himself as one of the best during his indy run through his years as a mid-carder in the WWE. The last two years have been the icing on the cake.
Not really breh, only superb, 4.5 star matches in NXT is Zayn/Cesaro series. Everything else isn't really touching Bryan's best work these past two years (stuff with the Shield, HHH match, Cena match, and match with Wyatt at the Rumble)

Na..... those matches... were in NO WAYS shytTY MATCHES!!! I wanna say that before the DBehive comes into to attack.
But in no ways were they memorable alltime great matches like a Bret vs Davey, HBK vs Razor, Booker vs Benoit, and so one and so on. Those matches only look good cuz the card or show it was on was so subpar.
Its like watching that middle school game where you have that one player who is a 6'7 seventh grader (and everyone else is under 5'5) who is dunking on and crushing everyone on the court. But put him on the court with some AAA High school players and he'd barely get off the bench.
He is a great wrestler who's somewhat dumbed down cuz theres no one else out there to push him. Is an Adam Rose vs Mizdow match really gonna challenge him if it comes on before or after a DB match?
Kinda like how back in the prior Era if say Austin is out in the ring killing it, HBK or someone is sitting in the back watching like "oh we gotta step our game up"?

Kurt definitely isn't no Danielson but Bret and Eddie have work that can be comparable to some of his elite work. Eddie is damn near the greatest known performer in history. Danielson is the heart and soul of good wrestling work in the business today. He can play the WWE style..the ROH style...make anybody in TNA look like novices and give Japan's elite the match of their lives.
