Call me selfish but I will not go through the stress of trying to sacrifice quality of living and not be able to afford anything for my future family. The kids deserve to have any of their school, activities, college tuition, and desired materials paid for without me stressing over how much will i have left over. I basically don't want to have kids unless I am able to provide my family anything they want of their desires. I want them to have the best and luxurious quality of life as possible.I'm not about to give them that average middle class life for them.'

hmm, I have a aunt who is a lawyer, and her husband works in IT, they dont struggle at all, but then again they only have 1 kid

guess it all depends on what you want and things like that, but if my wife and I made 200,000 each, we would not be struggling

exactly, it will matter where you live, how many kids you have, and if you decide to have expensive ass cars or just an avg car. I have a buddy, who makes about 120,ooo a year and his wife makes like 70,000 a year w/ 1 kid and they are doing good, but then again they live in Texas like I do and they both drive unexpensive cars (she has a civic) and he drives a Tahoe. they are still able to go on atleast 2 vacations a year, their daughter is in private school

Waiting to be financially stable before you have children makes sense to me, the question now is how old are you and how far off before you become a millionaire? What if it takes another thirty or so years before you become a millionaire...you gon be playing catch with the kids at 55 like...
