Can we dead this gif?
I don't even associate myself with people like that
Thank you. Its a two way street on this. And black mothers/grandmothers who burned us with hot combs when we was little.
Agreed.Unfortunately we Blacks no longer love ourselves. I would guess it's especially hard for young dark-skinned Black women. You watch tv and the vast majority of Black do not see someone of a darker shade in places of prominence. Black media heavily promotes skin lightening creams and hair relaxers. Both men and women share the blame for this. Black men have a tendency to chase after mixed women and Latinas because they are seen as more feminine. You have posters calling her a man and a prize fighter. She would not be called that if she were a few shades lighter and had 'good' hair. But on that same token women shame each other amongst them selves, chances are your mama/grandma put relaxer in your hair or burned up your scalp with a hot iron so your hair would be easier to manage. She probably made comments on how beautiful that light-skinned girl with the curly hair is. I mean this is not stuff that's said in public, but this colorism is a monster we both created and it will take both sides to embrace Black beauty in all shades for the next 2 or 3 generations for it to end.
fukk outta here with that black men not appreciating black features garbage.

Shut up.Which women are passed off as attractive "black" girls onto black women in this generation...exotic/mixed girls. And then y'all the same ones asking yourselves why they do it. What's going to get guys/especially black guys to notice? Saying your black or costa rican/german/aa ? Honest answers. ...
Ehh it does exist though. My great grandmother on my dads side was Creek Indian from Birmingham. That would make me 1/8th... Obviously I'd never claim Native American or even bring it up outside of something like this thread topic though. It's sad when people where that shyt with pride, but won't investigate where their black ancestors are from.Exactly my point, that blood from those non black ancestors is like 1/84th but they'll claim it like its 50% in their blood.
