Being former airforce, I have a lot of respect for anyone who don't get washed out for those jobs. But the reality is, they're still humans so they're still fragile. I use to work on cv-22s at Kirkland and those planes always come back from the desert with battle damage and stories attached. You have dudes just getting out of long ass training getting gunned down. They can keep that certified badass seal of approval, I'm good with my 9-5 engineering job

Dude I met in basic went SF. I went through AIT, airborne school, got stationed at Bragg, got deployed, came back and ran into dude at the base hospital. He was still going through training!

No way I could spend over 2 years training.
