I am in no place to give anything since I'm not working right now, but I was in your EXACT position 2 months ago. The only thing that saved me was still being in school. It seems so little now that I had to wait it out three months before I would be good again, but those few months of no money coming in, bills being due and money slipping through my fingers like water made my life EXTRA stressful. Your credit gets fukked up, nobody will give you a call back about an interview no matter how many jobs you apply to and how many people advise you on jobs available, nobody will give you a place to stay and NOBODY has any good damn advice to keep you from ending up in a fukked up position. The worse thing was getting the woo woo woo treatment and it will be alright from people.

yes i'm in Canada, I've applied to maybe 30 different places everyday since they ax'ed my job, i work on my resume very often, but i don't know...not getting the callbacks i needed. I don't really have a support group out there (people i thought supported me are no where to be found). Those are some suggestions i've considered.
you're in canada right? i dont know how it is in canada, but in the states, the casinos are ALWAYS hiring, and they get back to you so quick. do you have people helping you with your resume? are you part of any social groups, meet ups, church? you consider moving to the states? joining peace corps? teach for america? you were humble enough to reach out, stay positive. know things will get better. you're going through this because the powers that be know you're strong enough to handle it and prevail

Sorry for the late reply, I had to leave the airbnb and now am settled at this campus hotel thingy where a room per night is cheap; i'll be here for the night. Finally found someone who would let me spend the night at their house tomorrow night, and hopefully something comes up soon where i can find a place as soon as possible.
