I've never seen the Godfather myself but that's about to change. Those other movies I have seen already and all are must see movies if you are a fan of that Mafia/Gangster shyt.

Havent seen King of New York but the rest of those movies are essential except for Carlito's Way which contrary to what you'll probably hear here is the most overrated Gangster Movie ever made.

Not saying it's not a decent flick but i wouldnt go out of my way to see it until you've knocked the other classics off the list.

Only enjoyable thing about Carlito's Way is that bad ass Dominican joint that worked at Carlito's club. bytch was sexy as fukk.

Out of those I only haven't seen Gangs/Kings of NY, Donnie Brasco, and I only saw a little bit of a Bronx's Tale but it looked like it was gonna be great. Watch City of God whenever you get into the foreign flicks if you ain't seen that yet.

only gangster movie I NEED to see still is "once upon a time in america" which is like 4 hours long and I never catch at the beginning except for when it airs at like 1 am on a weeknight and I cannot devote that time to a damn movie.

My thoughts exactly. IMO the two movies that the OP would be alright without watching even though I liked them are King of New York and Godfather III.
