I'm going on a solo trip anywhere in North America for a few days. Where should I go?

Just came back from Tampa from a two day trip. Surprise how cool it was and would go back again. You can try there.

Budget is about 3-4k, I'm in the Midwest, I'm flying, and by novel I just mean I don't want an ordinary boring trip where I go from landmark to landmark and eat at restaurants. I want something adventurous, unique, and spontaneous for about 3/4 days (a week max). Also, the Caribbean and Central America are not off limits.

Go to Guadeloupe fam.
I was there last year and I’m goin again in a couple months because it was so amazing.
• Toptier beaches (84F water temperature :ahh:)
• Toptier Creole cuisine (:whew:)
• a LOTTA Black folks
• huge middle class
• great music scene (Kompa & Zouk is massive out there)
• The roads are very well maintained
• It’s very green, beautiful nature if you’re into that.
• Just the feeling of bein able to let your guard down cause you’re surrounded by people that look like you and have a warm and approachable attitude.

10/10 would recommend.

I was going to suggest Portland too since you can experience a chill city while also being a short drive from some mountainous scenery. There's a dope waterfall near there as well

Bay-to-PDX
I had no idea it gets hot like that there!

I was there in may and it reminded me of a slightly warmer San Francisco lol
It doesn’t breh, or shouldnt

I’m from the bay originally, and when we moved here it was rainy and cold. Now it’s like you say, a lot of NorCal weather. Meanwhile NorCal has socals weather and socal is on fire :obama:
