This clown finally woke up about how awful music is these days now he trying to apply this smart dumb bullshyt to everything
Sports is entertainment, however, it has made millionaires and changed lives. The issue is not enough of these brothers create wealth with their income like Magic Johnson. Brothers get new money and is so eager to spend it with cacs and shut out their own people because they're being told a brother goods' are inferior.
it really isThe NFL Combine is hard to watch. Its basically a modern day slave market.

I see your point but I respectfully disagree. Anytime I see Black folks on a stage in basically underwear being observed and prodded by white folks I cringe. I don't care that these cats will make tons of money, cuz at the end of the day what they will make will be a drop in the bucket to what the owners make anyway.
What about baseball, hockey, Soccer, etc
@Raul is this true? You know what Dominicans in baseball do? They send money back to the DR and build homes and show love to their people. They aren't flying cacs over there to build them either. Dominicans are building those homes. They simple show love and get it off of pure camaraderie.
Thank you. Jesus christ. Comparing millionaire athletes to slaves...ughI admittedly dapped your post off of my emotions about nikkas being seen as nothing more than profit by sports associations. But upon rational thought I'm very ashamed that I dapped your post breh. Not because I got a problem with you but because every black man should have a problem with equating black men who seek their fortune to black men who where bred to work to death without ever seeing a single fukking coin. All while watching their mothers and sisters getting raped for cacs who'd kill any negro that dared look them in the eye.
Black people have a whole lot of problems under the current system. But slavery does not exist anymore, simply because slavery is more than just being seen as profit. It's much much worse. As much as they get economically exploited, the players ain't suffering at the same rate as our ancestors. Not even close.
I've seen it both ways.
Do all these guys live on the island or do they turn around and never look back?I've seen it both ways.
It's tricky because people in the DR are very poor. So don't get it twisted...there are baseball players that have to take certain measures to grease the right people's hands so they don't get jacked. Even your casual tourist who ventures out of the resorts will tell you that cops will pull you over and run your pockets. And most baseball players, if not all of them live in very protected homes/neighborhoods. When I was in the capital in 2003, I drove around the outside of a house owned by Sammy Sosa and good luck getting into that bytch. He struck me as a very secluded dude. People liked him...but he's never really been adored on that Marichal/Pedro/David Ortiz level.
But at the same time, people like Vladimir Guerrero have done a lot to help out the people he grew up with. Jose Lima (RIP) was cool like that too.
I thought I saw a video that Bartolo Colon does a lot of giving back too.
I would guess that most dominican players from the island live there in the offseason. And probably once they retire.Do all these guys live on the island or do they turn around and never look back?
