Brehs, how can people hate on such a masterpiece? :why:

The story :noah:

How accurate Liberty City is to NYC :noah:, the fact that I'm not that familiar w/ Queens, but I can easily spot 4+ landmarks by just doing some driving. Hell, I'm even seen my old Church in this game :heh:

The music :noah:

scust at folks hating on GTA IV, because it's not ridiculous like previous games, go play Saints Row for fighting dildos and shyt :birdman:

I liked the DLC more than the main story. I don't know, I just didn't feel Nico was relatable. Hell, I liked GTA III's character more than Nico Bellic, and he had no lines, and no name. Story was also more memorable.

the controls are ass crack

this.

the story is great, graphically too. the music selection was nice too but it was hard to get past the weight of the game. everything felt like I was controlling a boat. I cant enjoy every thing else because of the clunkiness.

thing is, it wasnt just GTA4. It has been like this in every Rockstar game released this gen but reviewers/etc. continue to overlook it because it has the Rockstar name.

Classic game. You'll notice after GTA:3 it was just a couple games with the names in the title and then GTA4 dropped. Numbered iterations of a series represent major changes and they definitely delivered with IV. They finally upgraded the gun system and added a cover system. The driving felt realistic. And they created a world that was unparallelled in video gaming up to that point. Each borough/island/area had its own personality and unique AI citizens. The missions were a little more diversified. For a first attempt, the multiplayer was pretty good and probably on par with Uncharted 2. The only thing I would take away from it would be the whole friend system cause I stopped giving a shyt about playing darts or whatever with those nikkas. The complaints about no skydiving, planes, etc always seemed retarded to me. That shyt is much more suited for a huge and varied environment like San Andreas imo, which is why I think GTAV has a chance to be the GOAT release.
