I'm confused. Does the U.S. even bother to differentiate Sunni and Shiite muslims?

I mean Sunni's are the most radical of the two and its why al-Queda could have never collaborated with Iraq and Sadam because he was Shiite and Bin Laden and al-Queda were Sunni's and they got beef. It's like bloods and crips.

They want to arm the insurgents in Syria even though they are Sunni and could give two fukks about the U.S. as a matter of fact they would plot on this country in a heart beat if given the opportunity. Sunni muslims despise the west. It's why there was so much blow back from arming the afghans in the 80's.

Real talk the U.S. need to be siding with Shiite muslims because no matter which one is in power the rights of the other side will get violated.

US is backing the Sunnis because the Israeli and the Saudi government/lobby demands it.

In my opinion, it's quite detrimental to do so. We should be supporting the Shia and Assad if anything (I personally think we should keeps our hands off of this, but it's too late).

We need a strong Shiite power and governments in the Middle East to keep the Sunnis at bay. That would be in American's best interest honestly, but we care more about Israel and SA's best interests.

Sunni Islam has no cultural Arab rituals, or any real rituals period outside of prayer and funerals. The Arab stuff like growing a beard, wearing the khamees, a kufi, different fragrances etc is what we call Sunnah. meaning its GOOD to do those things to keep yourself Islamic, but they aren't required whatsoever.

Islam doesn't tart and end with the Quran tho, that's not our beliefs.

The Shia do not believe in any of our hadiths, they think that the companions of our prophet we're all apostates, they worship at graves, beleive some kind of Imam lineage, have priests and pay alms to them, have temples called Husseniyahs that are not Mosques (I'm sure you encountered them in Iraq), they have a system where a dude wears a white turban he's of status A, but if a dude wears a black turban hes of status B, they insult the wives of the prophet and say they're evil.

I can go on and on, but it really boils down to this self cutting and beating stuff which has nothing to do with Islam. It's disgusting and weird to be honest. Islam as we know it is being run by 2 cults... the Wahabi/Salfafi cult out of Saudi Arabia, and the Shia cult out of Iran... both are archaic and used to literally be cults until a certain point in history.

In the West people don't have time to differentiate. Muslims do a lot of bad things.. plus billions of dollars in oil money are controlled by a select few.. those few don't believe in these cults but they enforce the laws of these cults so they can remain in power.

They literally believe that a 12th Imam is hiding in some kind of Cave waiting to come and take over the world once some war is started, he's in some cave.

They give "Fatwa's" on the most absurd religious matters. One of their top priests (Marjah's) said one day that all Movies should be banned, they are evil and an affront to God.
