I made a website for school when I was about 15 or 16 and would join online groups to learn coding and how to make better HTML graphics (yes, I’m old) and men would message me and be very aggressive. A teacher had me remove my picture because it was getting more comments than my actual web content.

The dangers have been there for more than 20 years, it’s just easier to track and catch evidence.

All this and honestly it's just a transfer of energy to technology, all this same shyt was going on before the internet. My stepmom was born in '67 and had a very traumatic upbringing, including this very same shyt before there was a such thing as internet access...
