Some parents don't mind though. Me and my wife already have said our sons don't have to leave so long as they are going to school and working. Let them stay for free to save their money so they can be further than we were when we were their age. It's called family. You build with each other and get ahead with each other. All this "move out out now because you're 18 and you need to learn to be a man" is on some white man values. If my son's want to move out, that's fine by me too, but I'm here to help them get ahead in life. If that means they stay home til they are in their 30s saving 100 of gs, good for them.

Saving does not equal investing. It shouldn't take you 10 years to make $100k if you're investing your money reasonably.save about 840 a month for 10 years thats like 100k... but i never had to patience to do that
