Chicago ain't even that Bad besides the Corrupt System which is everywhere
I'm not talking about the bad part. It just doesn't look like an ideal place to live.

I been up there when I went to boot camp and after the first weekend it was like :manny:

Just moved here 6 months ago...these people dont realize how good they have it...its cleaner, nicer, and has more work then where i moved from (northwest indiana). The marijuana industry is about to be booming soon

a lot of the people leaving the state are leaving the rural areas. and I can't blame em. if you're gonna live in the sticks, might as well move somewhere with less taxes.

No plans on leaving Chicago, unless I leave the country. Where else to go where a 200k household income is SOLID with a major city, on either coast my wife and I would be lower middle class. A lot of different pockets where you can go and experience whatever you like, all types of people men and women of all races, theres always events, always something going on, and if you don't want to be bothered you don't have to be.

People gripe about taxes, but they're unavoidable no matter where you live.

I don't mind the snow, we do have all the seasons, and we're not on some water ration system like the west coast.

compared to other major cities, the cost of housing is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than NYC, LA or SF.
