Lot of Chicago folks in Houston. I've met two guys from Chicago that opened up restaurants in 3rd Ward with that Chicago style hot dogs, etc. Neither one lasted more thaen 18 months, but they are here.

No plans on leaving Chicago, unless I leave the country. Where else to go where a 200k household income is SOLID with a major city, on either coast my wife and I would be lower middle class. A lot of different pockets where you can go and experience whatever you like, all types of people men and women of all races, theres always events, always something going on, and if you don't want to be bothered you don't have to be.

People gripe about taxes, but they're unavoidable no matter where you live.

I don't mind the snow, we do have all the seasons, and we're not on some water ration system like the west coast.

they legalized it medically...two dispensaries are supposed to open locally and the first one just opened in Chicago I think last week...as far as the Chicago style hot dogs go....how the fukk can yall not love maxwell street?

I'd leave Chicago....our infrastructure is in shambles. I hate the great majority of our population too. Buncha fatherless fukkboys to the west and south (so they bark at their own and cower at Cacs & then forget about an entrepreneurial spirit) fighting for adoration of hairhats and sheltered, deputized,, new-gen white supremist from outskirts-IL, IN, MI, and WI liter our northside.....add a ton of fakkits, high taxes, and months of snow and cold and boy o boy....I can't see myself here post-2016.....I'd go south to settle down or leave the continent again. Undecided but IL ain't just Chicago.....but Chicago's the only region in the state I'd consider long-term .....
