I think he really thinks he’s about to just suck ass for 4 years and just collect the dough. Wiggins combined with his general attitude towards basketball and mental make up might legitimately be a top 5 worst basketball contract of all time. Only way this franchise comes out of it not completely ruined is if we trade him....

Kyrie would have fit much better honestly. He shoots and creates better than Kawhi. Doesn’t need to ball all game. Him and Bron were one of the great duos in history. Combine him and Bron with him adapting a more alpha role and add him with AD and now u talking bout a Dynasty.
Much more balanced than Kawhi...who’s a SF just like Bron and doesn’t spot up. Kawhi likes to handle the ball. And keep it real u really think Kawhi gon shine the brightest in LA?? Hell no this shyt will always be about Lebron James. He’s been the biggest star for 20yrs and that’s just the way it is
Kawhi also has some global New Balance ties down there in the 6ix so iont think ya’ll got that much of an edge on that front. I guess we’ll find out
I’m not saying Kyrie couldn’t work out but I don’t think it would’ve worked out as well as Kawhi/AD/Bron will. Keep in mind, LeBron would like to lighten his load at this point so he’s essentially going to be our point guard and facilitator while Kawhi is the primary scorer. So I think position and who has the ball in their hands won’t be nearly as much of an issue.
Also, Kawhi is actually FROM the LA area so he’d immediately have the hometown locked compared to LeBron. Case in point, fans are already putting up Kawhi murals whereas LeBron’s were being tagged up. Especially coming off winning a title for a franchise that never won one and then going home he’d clearly be the focus. If anything AD would be the third wheel if they were to be ranked as such.
And none of the global shyt you’re talking matches the combined power of the Lakers brand, AEG, and being in LA. Kawhi can own a country or own the world, his choice...
