The problem is the Rockets really don’t have any assets aside from future firsts and also their owner is very cheap.
The bigger problem is Houston doesn’t develop any prospect into assets. Morey had Covington and just waived him. Now Covington is an asset.

They could’ve had one in House if they kept playing him last season. He was looking like an athletic 3 and D but they financed dictate the situation. Houston has good contracts on its roster outside of CP3

I never said JR was a star I said he had star potential, he flashed that potential on both the Hornets and Nuggets, but his low b-ball iq was the reason he never reached it, and he still became a great 6 man and productive player on winning teams.

So JR wasn’t on winning teams with the Nuggets and Knicks, got it.

KCP is a dumb ass who has some of the worst mental errors in the league and was literally not allowed to leave the state during for months during an NBA season, what are you talking about.

You got it KCP will be what the Lakers need next year.
KCP has played well on "winning teams" also if we're talking about just making the playoffs...what are you even saying

Look at this goofy nikka..... Got a fukkin low-light package of his greatest whiffs

1.Back in January of 2014, J.R. Smith’s Knicks got a key offensive rebound with under 24 seconds remaining in a tie game against the Rockets. Instead of holding the ball to get the final shot of the game, Smith fired a three with 21 seconds remaining on the clock.

"Honestly I thought we were down two when I shot the ball. I started hearing Tyson (Chandler) say ‘No, no, no don’t take the shot.’ But at that point it was already released … it was just bad basketball IQ by me.” - JR "Superstar" Smith :mjlol:

2.During the 2013 playoffs, Rihanna blasted Smith in an Instagram comment. The two had been rumored to be dating in 2012.

Via the New York Post:

“He [expletive] up cus his [expletive] be hungover from clubbing every night during playoffs!!”

A legendary photo of Smith allegedly drinking before Game 5 against the Celtics that year went viral.
jrsmithsmall.jpg

:mjlol:

3.The NBA hit Smith with a $50k fine for “recurring instances of unsportsmanlike conduct” in 2014 when he couldn’t stop himself from untying his opponents’ shoelaces.
:mjlol:

4.Allowing a wide-open dunk by abandoning the play to embrace an opponent

5. The soup suspension
Spoiling a chance to win an NBA Finals game on the road seems like it couldn’t possibly be topped, right? Yet only a few months ago, Smith earned himself a one-game suspension for throwing a bowl of soup at assistant coach Damon Jones. After returning to the team, Smith said liked some of the internet’s savage soup memes.:mjlol:

nikka got the audacity to talk about someone else's bbiq and off the court problems while slurping up this fukking idiot JR SMITH who got KICKED OFF A TEAM for throwing a got damn bowl of soup on a coach LMAO fukk up out my face with that bullshyt... nikka please :mjlol:

I thought Grant woulda been part of the rebuild with his age and talent. He was prolly the 3rd best player for them last season. Damn shame what it’s come to @DoubleJ13 @Loose :francis:

Ehh... is he gonna be part of the next good OKC team? He's under contract for two more years(where they'll be awful) and then he can walk. Might as well break the whole thing down and start from scratch

Joke of a franchise. :smhkobe:

Retire a zero time All-Star's jersey, brehs. :beileinlol:

I hear you but he's still a top 4 player in the history of that franchise he just ran into a time frame where a gang of better PG's played plus lets not even act like he was even an option when the fans voted he was in a smaller market and lacked attention....He wont ever make allstar to be honest.

Well if they are gonna build around Shai, and get a nice piece for Russ, Adams, Gallinari they might not have sucked for too long

But then again they don’t have a system in OKC and only accumulate talent that results in nadda so maybe you’re right. I can’t see them retooling via the Clippers approach post-Lob City
