Better stats across the board, same age, same position... yet player A is signing for the minimum while player B has $36 million guaranteed over multiple years from the Mavs on the table at his luxury while he waits for his superstar teammate to make a decision independent of his. WOAT representation if I've ever seen it :scust:

Danny Green shot 45.5% from 3 though, if Jeff was a high level shooter like that he would be inking a nice multi year deal too

Danny Green is also known as a defender and while Jeff Green is known as being wildly inconsistent.
Also Danny is just coming of the championship so his stock is higher than a guy that's been on 5 teams in 5 years :manny:

Saying all that, there's no way I would give Danny Green the money they are offering him.

And with Lebron Im glad you brought up the word "talk" because the FACTS are that with all of that so called talk he never did premeditated resting at all...like I said if it washsuch a concern to him why didn't they start him off on a plan thir year like they did with Kawhi?? Simple question dog...
Like you say definitely not worth arguing over hypotheticals but just pointing out that LeBron did do some premeditated resting with the Heat, that's when people got mad at LeBron sitting certain games. I think it happened with the Cavs too. And they had largely tabled his minutes from the 40-42 he used to play early in his career down to just 35-36. In fact

Also, it's not at all an unusual opinion that Iggy's days are numbered. Effective 37yo perimeter players are unicorns. The over/under on meaningful years left for him is probably 1. Best case scenario he brings a Shane Battier 2013 impact, and Battier fell off hard by the end of the year and retired a year later. He was 34yo. Artest's last good year was 33yo. Bowen's last good year on the defensive side of the ball was 35yo. When you want to know how long a player will last you DO look at precedent, and Iggy's career trajectory ain't anything special compared to any of those guys. He's been lucky to make it as far as he has.
