IGN-Shooter fans are switching to Ps4 this gen.

The first-person shooter audience is shifting to PlayStation 4 this console generation, according to PlayStation group marketing manager Lauren Bradley.

"This generation, the shooter audience is tending to switch over to PS4, so we’ve got high expectations for Star Wars Battlefront around both launch and into next year," Bradley told MCV.

I believe it. I know several cats that was on 360 heavy that switched over to Ps4. I'm talking dudes that played multiplats primarily on 360. It was funny seeing them playing COD and NBA 2k on Ps4 even though they had a Xbox one also.

All my fps friends from 360 (i was one also) made the jump...the triggers are actually good on the ds 4, for shooters

I'd think more people in general are getting FPS games on PS4 because of all the exclusive content that releases first on PS4 this gen for the same multiplat games.

There are only a few FPS games that matter anyway, and the most competitive one on CONSOLE isn't on PS4. Do you disagree with that statement?

No. This is about where most shooter fans are going to. The third party deals are a factor.

If there are more fps players online on Ps4 and more copies of FPS games sold on PS4 then it's simple to say Ps4 is the biggest place to find fps fans.

Yes. Competitive is subjective.
I think something like Planetside 2 is more competitive because it requires more thought and teamwork. Your idea of competition is better aim and dexterity on the sticks.
