She's actually one of the few cases in music where you can actually say she has no talent . People say that a lot about a lot of people, but with Igloo it's true.

There's a lot of artists in music who fall into the talentless category and most of them are more successful and bigger than Iggy. The Coli blows Iggy up bigger than what she actually is. Most of it is in response to media hype (which in most cases is the real culprit behind "appropriation").

Don't have to publicly announce every donation, but to refuse to take a public stance on a public issue and yet claim to donate privately is some bullshyt. And If she really did donate she could easily show the receipts after being called out and shut down any critics. She could even say "I wanted this to remain private but my integrity is in question so I am showing it". But her response is a copout. She responded without taking a stance and completely dodged the issue of white privilege. She even tried to spin it like she is somehow the victim of unfair criticism. I ain't buying what she selling
In the grand scheme of things, nothing either of them said matters. It doesn't change the state of things. It won't change anything, because neither of them did anything to shift what's going on besides throw out random garbage on Twitter. Banks attempted to say something by saying something needs to be done about the curriculum, education, and we need to be more in touch with the religions of the Caribbean. Still, that's not going to benefit anybody if one person feels another person's life is expendable. Calling people c00ns, throwing others under the bus when backed against the wall in a Twitter dispute, and just using Twitter to air out feuds is counterproductive.
Nothing Iggy does will change people's perception of her aside from the quality of music. She's already viewed as a phony. Nothing she does can change that unless she makes songs that make people feel differently.
