On incline, I hold on the to the console, not the handles :manny:

Considering that I have been losing weight, I'd say my cardio routine is working :ld:

I ran a mile in 10 mins twice, I like to mix it up, some days I run flat on the treadmill, some days I incline, some days I do both. While incline burns more calories running is more fun to me. HIIT cardio is fun as hell :banderas:


My next goal is to run a mile in 9 mins, then 8.

I just did 55 minutes nonstop at 4.3 mph on 15.0 incline. I walk for 4 minutes (using handles) and then do intervals where I jog for 1 minute without handles at the same incline. I bet I burn more calories than 90% of the people that do cardio at my gym.

I be on that bytch for at least 50 minutes five days a week AFTER I lift and nikkas telling me I can't use handles just because they can do 15 minutes flat and get off :wtb:

If I'm running at a steady speed I run for an hour without grabbing the handles. If I'm doing intervals for an hour, I'm definitely grabbing the handle for about 10-20 seconds between intervals.

If I'm running at a steady speed I run for an hour without grabbing the handles. If I'm doing intervals for an hour, I'm definitely grabbing the handle for about 10-20 seconds between intervals.
Handles are only for incline imo.

My first instinct is to say that if you're not walking up real stairs, you're cheating. No matter where you are, there's a staircase somewhere. But to be honest I can see not wanting to do that in a place where people are looking at you.

I've never been on a stairmaster, and have a lot of trouble staying in the same spot on a treadmill. But I do a lot of jogging outside and I used to do a lot if star climbing with a 40lb vest.

nah, you don't. aint no handles when you walk/run up a steep hill. keep your arms pumping and lean forward some if you have to. #NoHandsGang

To play devil's advocate, they say that you burn 20% more calories hiking with poles than you do without them, according to the Mayo Clinic:

Not one to be outdone, I'm going to attempt to do this today/ and or go harder. Thanks for the inspiration
