knows how to cook, clean, sew
most didn't drive and waited for their husbands to take them shopping on the weekend
don't party
instills morals in the children
takes care of the husbands needs
rarely spends time doing things for herself because she spent most of her time doing for the family
Asked the husband before doing anything dealing with finances, or important life changing choices
wears dresses/skirts only
doesn't show cleavage

So if your wife doesn't do these things, your wife isn't traditional

Nope, that woman was considered lose. in the 30's - 60s being married in your teenage years was encouraged. Often times even if a girl had a boyfriend, she wasn't putting out, and they would go steady, hold hands, at most touch each other, but not do full on sex, unless the girl had a troubled past and acted out against her parents.
