Uncertain grounds
For what it's worth, Brock's return came immediately after two DOMINATING losses and Cain is coming of a sub 30 second loss just this year after 3 years of sitting out with various injuries.

True but at least they HAD success and are heavyweights

Punk got washed shamefully. Looked like a below average male fighting...like for any adult male

With that said..im a big punk fan and would like to see him somewhere working again

please stop .Rhonda, Brock, and Cain are all Former champs and probably MMA Hall of famers... You comparing who they took Ls to to who beat a winless punk is a big stretch

Funny thing is if he were to come back to WWE, his return feud would most likely be against Triple H. He ain’t getting 25 mil so he might as well just stop answering the question.

Oh yeah that reminds me that Ronda also came in after 2 dominating, embarrassing losses that ended her fighting career and destroyed her aura in MMA.

Again, it's not two losses against the Amanda Nunezs of the world that hurts your marketbility, its losses against a guy like Mike Jackson. Mickey Gall on the other hand is respectable.

And again, Rhonda, Brock, Cain are all former champs and Hall of famers....I wrote it again because you glossed over and ignored that little fact the first time.

Just you even trying to lump up their losses to punks losses shows a lack of perspective

I'm not comparing them to Punk's losses. Punk's losses and even being allowed to fight in UFC with no experience was a sham. But getting destroyed and embarrassed didn't hurt Brock or Ronda's perception or push in wrestling. Both were coming directly off of being beaten into retirement when they came to/back to WWE. A lot of wrestlers today have done MMA, wins/losses don't matter.

You're partly right that losses against other established and respected fighters don't matter but all the above also had massive success in UFC. They all main evented and had championships so when they come to WWE, WWE can say "look Former UFC champion" is here and sell that. What are they going to sell with Punk? He was a massive failure and laughing stock with the demo of fans you are trying to attract. He doesn't have the cache that the other MMA crossovers have, even Riddle has that ”UFC cred"

You would just ignore it like most things wrestlers do when they go outside of wrestling and flop. It's not the 70s, normal people don't think "Well he got his ass kicked in MMA, he can't possibly beat this guy in a fake fight, it makes no sense!"

Brock & Ronda attracted no non fans. Contrast with Mike Tyson who brought in a significant number of fans

I also never said anything about who attracts what. I don't think a Punk return would mean shyt outside of the first or second week in WWE nor do I think it would make any difference for AEW either. I just don't think that has anything whatsoever to do with Punk's failed MMA career.
