If you were the man in charge of WCW before it's downfall, what would of have you done differently?

Fire Russo

Kept the Mexican cruiserweights

Not let of Guerrero, Saturn, Malenko, Beniot

probably some more shyt comes to mind later but that's all I can think about for now

  • Try to get the hell off of Turner (future reasons)
  • Get a deal with TNN (Soon to be Spike)
  • Focus on the younger talent
  • Take a huge lost getting Hogan, Nash, Hall, etc out of the promotion
  • Start from scratch :ehh:

Bottom line, focus on making WCW how it was before Hogan (Early 1994), where everything started to make sense with how the talent was booked, along with some essential ideas such as world tournaments, leagues, and internet only shows. WCW was suppose to be the principle of professional wrestling, so I would treat it as such, while the other promotion focuses on shock TV.

Doesn't matter what they did, Time Warner still would have thrown it in the bushes.

I don't think they'd have sold a money maker, even if they did, better decisions in its last 2 years would have kept it around as a tv property at least even to this day. I believe if WCW & ECW had gotten through 2001 and got to 2002 with high speed internet and DVDs, they'd be around today

If they fired Hulk Hogan early 1999, that would be risk free. What could have Vince possibly done with Hogan when you had Austin as the #1 star and Rock/HHH battling to be next?

I would run an angle where the ghost of OG gorgeous george takes over the body of gorgeous george and wins the title from Savage.

He's mad at Savage for using the name.

This is extreme hindsight at play here, but I could've theoretically done a brand split with Nitro and Thunder, elevated the midcard like Benoit and Raven, and then had platforms to launch talent developed in the Power Plant without immediately hotshotting them into major angles like they did with the Natural Born Thrillers. Basically, be like WWE before WWE but with a bigger budget :manny:

breh, I'm with you. the concept of the Natural Born Thrillers was dope but they should of slow burned it a bit and have Jindrak/O'Haire rise up the ranks in the tag, then have Mike Sanders win the tv strap and then slowly put them together and then have the Nash cosign.

Hulk signing without creative control or Austin falling to the leg drop?

They would have worked it out. Hogan did big money for them a few years later, it certainly would not have been an issue to slot Hogan in there and do some huge matches in 1999. Same with Macho. Hogan wouldn't really have the leverage to refuse to lay down for Austin.
