Viruses are constantly evolving. That doesn't mean they become deadlier. Flu and the common cold (also a coronavirus) viruses are constantly evolving to the point that for the flu virus they have to keep tweaking the vaccine and have to take yearly and the common cold is nigh impossible to make a vaccine for it.

Seat belts can't prevent all car deaths, locked doors don't prevent all break ins. The key issues isn't prevention because if it was the case Vitamin D, Zinc and other vitamins and minerals "ESSENTIAL TO THE HUMAN BODY" would the most preventable measures .
